Will begin offering its Honors Program in select curricula beginning in the Fall 2011. The Honors Program will offer those students who demonstrate superior intellectual potential an intensive and enriched academic experience. Academic areas who will offer Honors curricula for Fall 2011 include the. School of Creative and Performing Arts,. College of Nursing and Allied Health. Many other departments will be offering honors curricula in subsequent semesters.
Life at the Honors College. On March 24, 2018, volunteers served the LOU community through the UM Big Event, the largest community service project in the history of the University of Mississippi. Over 2,100 students participated this year, including several UM Stamps Scholars, who worked with the Office of Sustainability to sift and bag more than 4,500 pounds of compost created from campus food waste.
